Janice has a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from QUT and was admitted in 1989. She is a skilled commercial lawyer with a broad depth of experience. She advises a wide variety of businesses on legal issues that arise in operating small business.

Janice has a special interest in the area of franchising. She has advised many franchisors and franchisees in all aspects of franchising and has presented numerous papers in the franchising area.   She also provides legal advice on related legal issues including trade practices and intellectual property areas.

Janice is a qualified mediator, a member of the Queensland Law Society Franchise Committee and a former president of the Queensland Chapter Committee of the Franchise Council and former National Board member of the Franchise Council of Australia.
